Miss B visits Pleasant Grove, CA!

Miss B's new Nevada Friends!

No trip would be complete without photos! Miss Bindergarten is already making a lot of new friends!

Miss Bindergarten is so impressed with perfect attendence! Just look at all her new friends at Jeffers Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Miss Bindergarten has left Nevada (pictures coming soon!) and is on her way to California! She'll make three stops while there, in Pleasanton, Pinole and then to Pleasant Grove. I'm sure she'll have lots of fun!

California became a state on September 9, 1850. The Capital of California is Sacramento.
The State Flower of California is The Golden Poppy
The State Tree is of course the California Redwood
The State Bird is The California Valley Quail.
The California State Motto...EUREKA!
Death Valley in southern California is the lowest point in the United States. It is 282 feet below sea level. It is the lowest, hottest and driest location in North America.
The tallest California Redwood Tree is "Hyperion". It measures 379.3 feet!
California Redwood Trees are over 2000 years old!
California is home to beautiful beaches along the Pacific Ocean and beautiful mountains in the Sierra Nevada and Cascade Mountain Ranges.

Miss B arrives in Mrs. Grainger's Kindergarten, Nevada!

Mrs Grainger has confirmed that Miss B arrived safely on Thursday. I'm sure Miss B is having fun getting to know all of Mrs Grainger's students.

A few Nevada fun facts!

Nevada is the 36th state in the United States of America
The Capital of Nevada is Carson City
The state animal is the Desert Big Horn Sheep
The state bird is the Mountain Bluebird
The state flower is Sagebrush
The state reptile is The Desert Tortoise
Nevada is the driest state in the United States with an average rainfall of only 7"
Nevada has the 11th largest school district in the country!

Salem, Time of Departure 3:15 p.m.

We said good-bye to our friend Miss B today. We had a little going away celebration, lots of hugs and a cupcake or two, them Miss Bindergarten stopped by a few of her favorite spots before leaving for the airport.
